Preparing for the Roofing Job:
- Prepare for the noise that is associated with re-roofing. You may want to plan some time away from the home.
- Please keep children and pets away from the area or inside while work is underway
- Please remove all wall hangings from the interior as well as loose items on bookshelves, antiques, or anything else that could possible be moved from the vibrations from hammering
- Please move vehicles and other items from garage and driveway. We will require driveway access to stack materials and park trucks and dump trailers.
- Please move vehicles a safe distance from construction area
- Please disable the sprinkler system the day before and durring the roofing job.
- Remove or relocate all sensitive items around the home that could possibly be damage from falling debris or shingles (patio furnature, movable plants, statues, wind chimes, etc.)
- Please allow access to a working electrical outlet on the exterior of your home. Electricity will be neccesarry to run our power tools.
- Please cover pools and hottubs
- Please check that AC lines are not routed too close the roof decking so they will not be punctured by nails.
- Please use caution when walking near the construction site. Look for nails and falling debris from roof.
- After the job, please check that gates are closed before turning pets loose outside.
- After the job, check furnace and hot water vents to make sure the vent tubes did not become dislodged durring re-roofing.
- Watch for nails duriing the job and look for stray overlooked nails after the job
- Payment should be made in one of the following ways only: Insurance claim checks with the homeowner’s endorsement on the back, personal check, casheirs check, or money order all made payable to Meis Enterprise LLC. We also accept credit cards through paypal. Add 3% for credit card transactions. NO CASH PLEASE!
